2022 World Cup: FIFA will pay a stratospheric sum for the preparation of Senegal – Onze d’Afrik

As usual, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) will pay a qualification bonus to the nations participating in the World Cup. The Minister of Sports of Senegal, Matar Ba, also recalled this Monday during his appearance on the program Quartier Général on the TFM.
The highest sports leader in the Land of Téranga indicated that this sum which will be paid to the Senegalese Football Federation (FSF) will be used to prepare the Lions of Senegal, housed in group A with Qatar, the Netherlands and Ecuador.
“If I’m not mistaken, FIFA will give 1 billion 500 million FCFA to the Federation for the preparation. There is also a participation envelope. But there are sovereignty expenses because each state wants to manage its national team. I cannot say how much this preparation is worth because we have to meet with the Federation next Thursday. They were in Qatar, so we will communicate on the cost of the preparation. We will do everything to ensure that the players are in excellent conditions. But it is FIFA that will pay for the 50 members of the delegation plus the five badges. Which makes a total of 55. If it exceeds this number, it is the State of Senegal that will take charge.”
