The Gambian referee Bakary Gassama, the official for the second leg of the double confrontation between Senegal and Egypt, got away with it after a very turbulent end to the match.

Algeria experienced a cruel elimination. The Fennecs lost to Cameroon in the dying moments (2-1 ap). The Algerian fans also want the match to be replayed. They claim refereeing errors on the part of the Gambian Bakary Gassama.
