Willow
“You two are never going to leave me,” his intense gaze quickened my heart. What did he just say?! A very bad feeling rasied in my heart.
“Wyatt, we’re not going to live here,” I intervened, guiding Wyatt and Lori to my side.
“But Mommy, didn’t we come here with our luggage to live with Daddy?” Lori asked in confusion, her eyes wide.
“No, we’re leaving as soon as I take care of some unfinished business,” I faced Reuben, meeting his green eyes. My wolf had felt a sense of despair since I discovered Reuben’s intentions, to reject me for another woman. My heart felt constricted, but I kept my emotions in check. “My children are leaving with me after the rejection,” I stated firmly, maintaining eye contact with Reuben.
“Leaving?” he raised his brows in amusement. “Unfortunately, that’s not going to happen, Willow,” he chuckled, stepping closer as Oran suddenly appeared and took Wyatt and Lori away. As their backs faded away, Reuben added, “Wyatt and Lori are my children too. They’re never leaving me.”
“What do you mean?!” I snapped at Reuben, my patience running dangerously low. “You know I am going back to Britain with Wyatt and Lori!”
There was a sudden shift in his eyes when I mentioned Britain, “Have you wondered why you’ve been barred from leaving the country, by air and sea?” He reached out, gently tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
“Why?” I had attempted to investigate this but found no answers. “Why am I blocked from leaving?”
“You are trying to leave with Wyatt and Lori,” he softly rubbed the tip of my ear between his finger and thumb while staring into my confused eyes, “Until their custody case is resolved, you can’t take my children away.”
“What? You filed for custody of them?” my face turned white in shock.
“Yes,” he slid his hand down to my neck and pulled me closer to his chest, “And let me tell you, I can win custody anytime I want,” his green eyes were full of dark promise.
“You… you…” I clenched my fist and gritted my teeth, “Why did you file for custody of my children?!” I demanded, almost screaming in fury.
“Shhh…” Suddenly Reuben put his finger on my lips, causing me to flinch with our sudden proximity. My wolf was awakened from her depressed state. “I filed for custody the day you ran away from the shifter hotel. Some paragraphs are incomplete if you are not reading this novel on Jobnib.com. I bit my lip and took a deep angry breath, “There is no way I am letting my children have a stepmother, Reuben.” “Obviously, I am not letting that happen either. My children have only one mother and that is you and will be you,” he stated.
His words helped to ease my agitation over my children being stolen, “Then withdraw your case for custody,” I demanded. “Like we had decided, you will return the Wade Moon Pack papers to me, we will complete the rejection ceremony, then after that I will leave your life with my children,” I reminded him of his promise. I knew that without the rejection I could not take Wyatt and Lori smoothly away with me.
“I wish I could do that but at this point things have changed, Willow,” he put his hand on my cheek.
“What changed?” My body shuddered slightly, sensing something unexpected that was going to change my life. “The pack’s holy cave where the rejection ceremony is held will be sealed for the next three months,” he revealed.
“Sealed?” my eyes winded at the news.
“Yes, we have to wait three months for the rejection ceremony. You are not going anywhere, stay here with me, leave before then, or you will lose Wyatt and Lori,” he remarked softly.
“What?” My mind went blank at the thought of having to live for three months with Reuben. “Impossible!” I growled, pulling away from him. “There is no way I am living with you, Reuben!”I glared and tried to pass by him to walk towards the packhouse so that I could get Wyatt and Lori. “I should not have come here. I am leaving with my children right now… AHHH..” I yelled then before I could take another step a strong arm wrapped around my waist. My body was lifted up from the ground and before I could understand anything Reuben threw me over his shoulders and started carrying me inside the packhouse.
“What are you doing? Let me go!” Shrieking, I struggled to get out of his hold. But with each passing second he continued tightening his grip on my waist. “Let me go!” The facade of calmness that he had been wearing was torn off. He just wanted to get me here when I was no longer a member of the Wade Moon Pack so that he could claim me completely but his silence scared me.
“Where are you taking me?” Suddenly he started climbing the stairs and alarms started ringing in my head as I realized where he was taking me. “No! Put me down! Put me down!” I screamed, hitting his back and throwing my arms and legs in the air to jump out of his hold but before I could succeed, the door of his bedroom was kicked open and the next thing I knew he threw me on his bed.
As my body bounced on the bed two or three times, I immediately tried to run away but Reuben grabbed me and pinned me to the bed.
“No!” I screamed at the top of my lungs when he pinned both of my hands over my head and hovered over me.
“Don’t move,” he warned in a very deep voice. I obviously did not obey and continued to struggle to get free from him until his lower body touched mine. I instantly froze on the bed, my heart drumming in my chest when I felt his hardness.
“What…what are you doing?” I stammered, my breath stuck in my throat.
Reuben leaned down slowly towards my face, “I have been like this for the last six years, Willow,” he confessed, rubbing his hardness against my belly.
“No….don’t,” I struggled a little, clearly understanding his intentions.
“No?” he grabbed my cheeks and leaned down dangerously close to my lips, “If no, then don’t you dare to run away from here again. Or I don’t fucking mind having you tied to my bed, naked and moaning for the next three months…”
