“Cheaters”, “corrupt”… An Algerian openly challenges Eto’o and Song in Doha! (video) – Eleven of Afrik

Embarrassing moment this Friday in Doha where the draw for the group stage of the 2022 World Cup was held. Accredited for this event, an Algerian, obviously a journalist, did not hesitate to challenge Cameroon coach Rigobert Song, then the president of the Cameroonian Federation, Samuel Eto’o, by filming himself live to treat them of “cheaters” and of “corrupt” in front of the audience. The two former glories preferred to ignore it.

The young man accuses them of having bought the referee Bakary Gassama, author of very contentious decisions which precipitated the elimination of the Fennecs against the Indomitable Lions on Tuesday in the return play-offs of the 2022 World Cup (1-2, ap). Not sure, however, that the Algerian supporters endorse this behavior which gives a strange image of their country. Not sure either that the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) will accredit this individual again in the future.
