Egypt: The EFA delivers its verdict for Queiroz after refusing his resignation! – Eleven of Afrik

In a press conference after the elimination of Egypt from the World Cup play-offs, Carlos Queiroz announced his resignation as coach. A request that had been put on hold by the Egyptian Football Federation (EFA). But the authority has just communicated its final decision.
In an online publication on Sunday, the governing body of Egyptian football formalized the amicable departure of Portuguese coach Carlos Queiroz. The technician thus leaves with a record of 13 wins, 2 draws and 5 defeats with the Pharaohs.
The former Real Madrid coach had, as a reminder, led Egypt to an Arab Cup semi-final in Qatar and an African Cup of Nations final in Cameroon. He was also close to qualifying for the 2022 World Cup, but was eventually kicked out by Senegal.
