The Special Public Works programme, launched in January, is aimed at employing 1,000 people from each of the 774 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the country.
The programme is being coordinated by constituted state committees, with the beneficiaries earning N20,000 monthly.
While the programme has kick-started in some states, successful participants are yet to begin work in some other states.
