Candidate for the presidency of the Ivorian Football Federation (FIF), the former president of the Professional Football League of Côte d’Ivoire, Sory Diabaté, has fulfilled his right to file candidacy files, in the afternoon of this Saturday, April 9, 2022.
Not having made the trip, he instructed the vice-president of the Ivorian Senate, Professor Makani Diaby, to deposit his files at the headquarters of Fif located in the town of Treichville. The spokesperson of this delegation, moreover, legal manager of Team Sory Diabaté, Me Roux Yao Athanase, revealed to the press that the official launch of his mentor’s campaign is scheduled for Saturday, April 16 at the Hotel Ivoire in the commune of Cocody.
Note that the candidate Yacine Idriss Diallo has also submitted his files. It was Friday, April 8. The leader of Team YID did not make the trip. He was represented by the General Coordinator of the “Rassembler pour Développement” team, Malick Tohé.
