South Africa coach Hugo Broos is eager to challenge the French team. The Belgian technician did not hide his enthusiasm for this friendly match scheduled for next Tuesday.
Four days after the defeat against Cote d’Ivoire 2-1 at the Vélodrome (Marseille), South Africa will in turn face the French team at Pierre Mauroy (Lille) in a friendly match. Present at a press conference this Sunday, Bafana-Bafana coach Hugo Broos announced the colors.
“For France, there will be a different team. There may not be 11 different players, but it will be a different team, Broos told the press conference. As I pointed out before this tour, I’m going to give all the players a few minutes and we already started that against Guinea on Friday.” he launches entry.
“Against France, there may be a little less change because the opponent is much stronger. There will also be new players like (Nyiko) Mobbie and Lyle Lakay. They will play against France because I want to give them a chance to show their qualities.” added Hugo Broos happy with his latest recruits.
“What I saw in the game against Guinea was that they (the team’s players) gave us what we would have liked to see from them. They are also good within the group, and their mentality is very good. We did not have the impression that they were there for the first time with me in this team”, he concluded.
