Kate Middleton’s looks in the Caribbean were wonderful until she wore this flawless dress and erased everything.
H Kate Middleton and Prince William are on the 4th day of their tour in the Caribbean states that are members of the Commonwealth. Their journey started from Belize, where they landed on Saturday, March 19, but things did not go as planned. However, today they will leave for Jamaica for the second stop of their tour, which will end with a visit to the Bahamas. The eight-day tour of the royal couple is done on behalf of Queen Elizabeth and in the context of the celebration of her Platinum Jubilee.
For the needs of the tour we saw the Duchess with some of her most impressive looks ever, both casual and formal evenings. Kate visited the Garifuna Festival and the Che’il Mayan Cacao Farm and Chocolate Factory in a blue floral dress, midi with short sleeves and wasp nest on the chest, with the signature of the designer Tory Burch.
The evening changed to attend the Caracol Archaeological Reserve, at a special reception in a glittering, hot pink dress from The Vampire’s Wife.
To give their busy schedule a sense of holiday and fun, they found the balance in looks through color, loose lines and cool fabrics. So for the next day and her departure from Beliz she chose white pants which she combined with a vintage red jacket with belt in the middle of the house Saint Laurent. The set was completed by a pair of pearl shell earrings, white heels and a Mulberry bag.
At their next stop, Jamaica, Kate turned to one of her favorite, albeit controversial, colors. Choose a bright yellow dress up to the ankle from the brand Roksanda, with a special detail bow at shoulder height. Kate took it with her to Norman Manley International Airport, a choice by no means since yellow was a tribute to the gold of the Jamaican flag.
Interestingly, Roksanda was also the designer behind another of Kate’s yellow dresses: a mini dress with a square neckline and white touches, which she wore on her tour of Australia in 2014. Then Kate had jokingly revealed that Prince William he had told her that “it looked like a banana”, but eight years later, in the same bright shade, the duchess looks like a priestess of royal style. It did not spoil you, William.
