When Ismaïla Sarr trolls his father: “I am often told that he was better than me, but…” – Onze d’Afrik

Ismaïla Sarr is not the first Senegalese international in his family. Before him his father, Abdoulaye Sarr, had proudly represented the colors of the Pays de la Téranga.
In an interview with our colleagues at wiwsport, the Watford striker admitted that he was told that his father, nicknamed ”Naar Gaad”, played better than him.
“Yes, I am often told that (laughs). I’ve never seen him play while he’s there, right in my career. So maybe I play better than him (laughs). »
As a reminder, Ismaïla Sarr has 39 caps with the Teranga Lions during which he found the net 9 times, the latest of which was the one scored in the quarter-finals of CAN 2022 against Equatorial Guinea.
