World Cup 2022: Mali also seized FIFA after its match against Tunisia! – Eleven of Afrik

After Algeria and Egypt, it’s the turn of Mali. Eliminated from the 2022 World Cup play-offs, the selection then led by Mohamed Magaoussouba also seized FIFA. The Malian federation believes indeed to have been disadvantaged in this meeting since a goal would have been unfairly denied to the Malians during the return match in Tunis.
“In the 5th minute, we scored a goal which was disallowed. Immediately after the match we formulated a request which we sent via the match commissioner to FIFA. So we made a request to FIFA for what we call a refereeing error. It’s a big disappointment for our country, when we see what these young people have produced and we’re not at the World Cup, there’s pain.”
