Morocco is taking a serious option for qualification. Opposed to the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Atlas Lions won the point of a draw in Kinshasa this Friday four days before the return leg of the 2022 World Cup play-offs.

Hector Cuper’s men had however made a start to the match, opening the scoring in the 12th minute of play thanks to Brentford striker Yoan Wissa. But the Moroccans snatched the draw in the last quarter of an hour through Tarik Tissoudali, after the missed penalty from Ryan Mmaee.
